SEATTLE -- Another trip to the courtroom for the man behind CityGuru, Drew Morrison.

But instead of dapper suits and high society public events, Morrison was a no show.

CityGuru and Morrison have been under fire for more than a year for failing to pay back vendors following events and burning through half a million dollars from a Texas investor.

The money instead went to big dinners, adult stores, guns, and more.

Morrison lost a civil lawsuit and is forced to pay more than $1.2 million.

He was supposed to show up Friday morning for a contempt hearing for failing to answer direct questions and to produce business records.

“No matter what the court orders, he does whatever Mr. Morrison wants to do,” said attorney Bruce Danielson, who sued Morrison.

The court agreed to put out a bench warrant for Morrison's arrest and a $20,000 bond.

Morrison has not provided records the court has demanded and he has not paid back the jilted investor.

Morrison is still under investigation by the state Department of Financial Institutions for possible violations of securities laws. It could be connected to the sale of shares in the now-defunct CityGuru.

He did not respond to a phone message and was not available at his last known address.
