Wilson: Pregnant Ciara 'feeling great' following L.A. car crash
LOS ANGELES -- Singer Ciara and her unborn child are in good health following a car crash in Los Angeles Friday morning, the singer's husband, Seattle Seahawks' quarterback Russell Wilson said.
"Momma Wilson & Baby Wilson are feeling great! God is good!" Wilson tweeted a few hours after the crash.
The crash occurred around 11:48 a.m. when the driver of a gray Volvo was illegally in the bus lane, and hit the right side of Ciara's white Mercedes, a spokesperson for Ciara told Entertainment Tonight.
Witnesses told TMZ that Ciara was "clutching her chest and shoulder," but was "walking around and talking on her phone."
The Los Angeles Fire Department tells ET that Ciara and the other driver exchanged information, but neither of them was seriously injured. No ambulance arrived on scene, and LAFD said "no patient (was) transported."
Aerial video from KABC-TV showed the aftermath of the crash located at the intersection of Wilshire and Barry, in the 11600 block of Wilshire Bl.
In the video, Ciara, dressed in black, is seen leaving her damaged Mercedes and walking into an awaiting SUV.
The 31-year-old singer is in her third trimester of pregnancy, and made headlines earlier in the week when she posted a nearly-nude family photo on social media.
