Gov. Inslee to hold Sunday morning press conference on alarming rise of COVID-19 cases

OLYMPIA, Wash. - Gov. Jay Inslee's office said Saturday that he will hold a press conference Sunday morning to discuss new actions his administration is implementing to combat the alarming rise of COVID-19 in Washington state. 

The press conference will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday. KOMO News will air the press conference live on TV, on and on the station's Facebook page.

Washington state recorded a record-high 2,233 COVID-19 cases in one day on Saturday, breaking the previous record of 2,142 cases on Friday.
