Watch: Incredible time lapse shows snow storm approaching Seattle
As the clouds rolled in ahead of Thursday night's snowfall, local photographer Don Jensen went out to West Seattle to film the storm's approach.
What he got was photography gold:
Quite the variance of weather conditions there, with upper level winds blowing clouds west to east (the camera is facing east), with the storm then rolling in from the south. Meanwhile, Don was probably experiencing easterly winds standing there on the shoreline.
Also watch for the dramatic "mammatus" clouds toward the end -- signifying a very turbulent atmosphere.
