Other than briefly stepping away for about a year, Brian has been part of the KOMO Radio newsroom since the station first went all-news back in 2002. He's served as an anchor, reporter, and News Director while here.
Brian has been a part of radio and television in the Pacific Northwest for well over two decades. His career began in the late 1980s in southern Oregon where he first learned radio at KAJO. From there, he went on to the anchor the news for KXL in Portland in the 1990s. In the summer of 2002, Brian was lured from KIRO radio to help launch the all-news KOMO Newsradio. He has also worked as a weathercaster on KOMO 4 News and Northwest Cable News, and has developed his own series of popular Internet shows promoting local wine, craft beer, and distilled spirits.
Today, he can be heard anchoring from time-to-time, reporting, and still delivering weather forecasts on occasion on KOMO 4. Brian is a national Edward R. Murrow award winner, and really enjoys telling stories you won't hear anywhere else.
