Report: Kam Chancellor intends to play if medically cleared
SEATTLE -- Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor, whose career was in doubt after a neck injury, intends to play in 2018, according to a new report.
But his returning to football depends on Chancellor's being medically cleared to play, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
It's not clear how likely that Chancellor would be cleared.
After he was injured in November, his career seemed in doubt. And coach Pete Carroll also expressed doubts in January that his safety would return.
Chancellor added to the doubts last month with an Instagram post that was either just an image or a symbol of his walking away from football.
