SEATTLE -- Washington IMG Sports Marketing has named Tony Castricone director of broadcasting and said he will be the Huskies' radio play-by-play man for football and men's basketball after Rob Rondeau retires at the end of the 2017 football season.

Castricone has done radio play-by-play for Clemson University men's basketball since 2014.

He is a graduate of Ohio University and has worked in different capacities in college football programming for Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, as well as the ACC and SEC conferences.

He will start Oct. 2 and will take his first turn behind the microphone Nov. 10 when the Huskies' men's basketball team plays Belmont.

KOMO Radio is the flagship station for Husky football and men's basketball. Bob Rondeau is in his final season, and you can hear him on KOMO. Game day coverage for Friday's game against Rutgers begins at noon.
