SEATTLE -- The Washington Huskies already outstanding 2018 football recruiting class became even more impressive Thursday night with the decision of 4-star defensive back Kyler Gordon from Archbishop Murphy High School in Everett.
During his live, on-air announcement, Gordon grabbed a Washington hat, but then tossed it on the ground. He quickly put his hands on the Notre Dame hat, but then tossed it aside. Finally, he revealed the t-shirt he was wearing, which had a big Washington logo on the front.
The 5-11, 180-pounder chose Washington over Notre Dame, Stanford, USC, Nebraska, UCLA, Oregon and others. Gordon brings the Dawgs recruiting class to 19 players in college football's new early signing period between December 20 to 22.
