Watch: What drivers will face on Mountain Loop Highway
By KOMO Staff
A volunteer with the U.S Forest Service took this video Tuesday of the Mountain Loop Highway, which underwent an emergency opening to allow greater access to Darrington after the deadly mudslide near Oso wiped out SR-530.
WSDOT stresses the road is not passable for commercial vehicles and is rough in many spots with snow still lingering in places.
The road is expected to open sometime between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon.
