North Korea Hackers Reportedly Target US Power Grid
SEATTLE -- Now here's a scary thought – hackers in North Korea shutting down America’s electric power grid. It's a threat we now need to take seriously.
The security firm Fire Eye says it discovered that North Korean hackers are probing US electric companies looking for weaknesses that could be used to launch a possible cyber-attack.
On the KOMO Midday News (weekdays 1-3pm), I spoke to Theresa Payton, an internationally-respected cyber security expert.
