Conditions around the King County courthouse in downtown Seattle have gotten so bad that some visitors, and even people who work in the building, don't feel safe. On Tuesday, some prominent people with offices in the court house, including several judges and Sheriff John Urquhart, called on the King County Council to do something.

Judge Laura Inveen, the presiding judge for King County Superior Court, was one of those who testified about the need for help. On the KOMO Midday News (weekdays 1-3), Judge Inveen talked about her concerns.
