ID fraud epidemic continues to grow
SEATTLE, Wash. -- Last year was the best year ever for identity thieves: More victims and more money stolen, according to a new study from Javelin Strategy & Research. An estimated 16.7 million Americans were victims of identity fraud in 2017, a new record. And the fraudsters stole nearly $17 billion.
