FAA Ordered to Review Safety of Shrinking Airplane Seats
A federal appeals court in Washington. D.C. has ruled that federal officials should reconsider whether to regulate the size of airline seats in the name of safety. One of the judges calls it the case of the incredible “shrinking airline seat.” A group called Flyers Rights filed this lawsuit and says cramped planes are a safety hazard that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) needs to do something about.
