Woman injured as car crashes through Federal Way church
FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - A woman was injured Sunday after a person drove a car through a church's wall here.
Investigators believe the driver mistook the gas pedal for the brake, Cathy Schrock with the Federal Way Police Department says.
The driver did not appear to be impaired, Schrock said.
The church is in the 1600 block of South 308th Street. The car crashed completely through the wall.
The woman, in her 50s, suffered a leg injury, authorities with South King Fire said.
No other injuries were reported. It was not immediately clear what caused to driver to crash through the wall.
