Woman able to escape after being abducted at bus stop
OLYMPIA, Wash. -- A 21-year-old woman was waiting at an Olympia bus stop last week when she was abducted and assaulted by a passing driver, according to Thurston County Crime Stoppers.
According to Crime Stoppers, the victim was at the stop in the 3000 block of Martin Way around 10 a.m. Feb. 19 when a driver pulled over and dragged her into his car.
The man drove east on Martin Way, reportedly hitting the victim multiple times and tearing her clothing.
The victim was able to escape and run to a nearby business for help when the man stopped in a parking lot.
The Olympia Police Department has been unable to find the man and is looking for anyone who witnessed the incident.
