Video shows smash and grab at Alderwood jewelry store

ALDERWOOD, Wash. -- Lynnwood police are looking for two suspects accused of a smash and grab at a Lynnwood jewelry store Tuesday night.

Police released a surveillance video that shows two alleged suspects entering the Ben Bridge Jeweler about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Alderwood Mall.

Witnesses said two men dressed in all black entered the store and used sledgehammers to smash a display case. Police said the suspects stole several watches then ran out of the mall.

Police searched the area but did not find the suspects. Detectives are now reviewing surveillance video.

A similar smash and grab happened over the weekend at the Ben Bridge Jeweler store at Bellevue Square Mall.

Investigators don't yet know if the two incidents are related.

The Ben Bridge Jeweler at Southcenter Mall in Tukwila was also hit by thieves in August.
