Two more students robbed at gunpoint in U-District

SEATTLE -- For the second time this week, two University of Washington students were robbed at gunpoint by a group of men in the University District, according to the Seattle Police Department.

According to police, the male victims were walking int he 5000 block of 18th Avenue Northeast around 1 a.m. Thursday when they were approached by a stranger, who pointed a gun at them and demanded "all their stuff."

The victims put their hands up, and the robber took cash and cellphones from their pockets, according to police. The suspect reportedly smashed one of the cellphones before running off with three other people.

The robbery took place one block from where two UW students were attacked and robbed at gunpoint by four people late Sunday night.
