EVERETT, Wash. -- The 19-year-old accused of drowning a 6-year-old Lynnwood boy was charged Thursday with first-degree murder in Snohomish County District Court, according to court documents.

Andrew Clayton Henckel from Kerrville, Texas, was taken into custody Tuesday for investigation of first-degree murder after Dayvid Pakko's body was found in a trash bin following an overnight search, according to court documents.

Henckel is reportedly the boy's uncle and was visiting relatives in Lynnwood when the incident occurred, according to court documents.

Court documents state Henckel allegedly drowned the autistic boy while taking care of him Monday.

Prosecutors have until November 3 to file charges in Snohomish County Superior Court, which is necessary for the case to move forward.
