Teen arrested for allegedly pulling BB gun at school
SEATTLE -- A teen was arrested Wednesday for allegedly pulling a BB gun during a fight with another student outside Franklin High School.
According to the Seattle Police Department, someone called 911 around noon to report seeing one of the students involved in the fight pull a gun out of his backpack.
Officers and school security found the teen and searched his backpack, finding the BB gun, according to police.
The teen was booked into King County Jail for investigation of possessing a weapon at a school facility.
The Seattle Police Department's Jonah Spangenthal-Lee was left to offer this helpful tip: "Kids, if you haven't figured it out by now, do not bring guns (real, BB, potato or otherwise) to school."
