Suspected robber: 'Should I pull out my gun?'

SEATTLE -- A man had his laptop stolen by two men armed with a bat late Thursday night in West Seattle, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The victim was walking to a friend's house in the 1600 block of Southwest Barton Street shortly before midnight when a car pulled up alongside him and two men jumped out.

According to police, the men hit the victim in the back with a baseball bat and pushed him to the ground.

While the suspect was on the ground, one of the men reportedly reached toward his waist and asked if he should pull out his gun. The victim told officers he wasn't sure if the man was asking him or the other robber.

According to police, the men grabbed the victim's bag containing his laptop and other items, got back in the car, and drove off. The victim said he thinks there was a third person driving the car.

Officers were unable to find the men.
