Suspected robber arrested, another on the loose after car chase

SEATTLE - Federal Way police arrested one suspect after robbing two women and leading officers on a car chase Friday night, according to Seattle Police.

Officers say two men robbed two women at gunpoint near 29th Avenue South and South Snoqualmie streets around 9 p.m. The suspects fled the scene in a van, causing a crash as they left.

The van and suspects were spotted by Federal Way police near a 7-11 convenience store a short time later.

When officers attempted to intervene, the suspects led police on a car chase that ended near Southwest 338th and Hoyt Road Southwest.

One man was arrested and booked into King County Jail on investigation of robbery. The second suspect fled on foot and is still on the loose Saturday.
