Suspect from Enumclaw intruder shooting arrested

ENUMCLAW, Wash. -- The King County sheriff's office says a suspect who fled from a fatal intruder shooting at an Enumclaw home has been arrested.

The sheriff's office tweeted the suspect was arrested early Tuesday, just after midnight. The stolen SUV was also recovered.

The wanted man drove away from the scene on Monday where a man returned home to find two intruders in his house. Officials said the homeowner grabbed a shotgun and fatally shot one of the intruders.

The homeowner also fired at the second intruder as he sped off in the stolen SUV, shooting out a window.

The name of the man who was killed in the shooting has not been released.
