Suspect arrested 1 block from Capitol Hill bank robbery

SEATTLE -- Officers arrested a man one block away from the Capitol Hill bank he robbed less than an hour earlier, according to the Seattle Police Department.

According to police, the man walked into a Chase Bank at Broadway and East Thomas Street shortly after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and passed a note to a teller demanding cash.

The man ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash, but officers were able to find and arrest him a short time later, according to police.
