Student viciously attacked by group at Golden Gardens
SEATTLE -- A Seattle student suffered a large cut on the back of his head requiring several staples to close, not to mention a possible concussion and fractured cheek bone, when he was attacked by a group of men last week at Golden Gardens.
According to the Seattle Police Department's report for the incident, the victim was walking to the rest room at the Ballard park around 11 p.m. June 6 when three men stopped him and asked what he had for them.
The victim later told police the men, who he has never seen before, obviously intended to rob him. But, before that could happen he was suddenly hit in the back of the head with what he thinks was a skateboard.
According to the report, the victim fell to the ground, and the three men repeatedly punched him in the head until his friends came to the rescue.
The attackers ran off, and the victim's friends drove him home to Laurelhurst. The victim's father then drove him to the hospital for treatment.
The victim, who was unable to provide a detailed description of his attackers, was advised to call police if he comes across any more information about them.
