State Patrol investigating hit & run crash involving semi truck in Snohomish County

NEAR EVERETT, Wash . - The State Patrol is investigating a hit and run crash involving a semi-truck on I-5 in Snohomish County.

It happened around 7:00 p.m. in the northbound lanes, near milepost 196, between Everett and Marysville.

Troopers said the semi truck was traveling in the center lane and made an unsafe lane change, striking a vehicle but the semi driver didn't stop.

The impact caused the vehicle to spin across three lanes and hit another car and a jersey barrier.

One driver had minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital to be checked out. The other driver was not hurt.

As of 11:30 p.m. Thursday, there were no reports if the driver of the semi truck had been located.

The crash blocked the left two lanes for several hours. The road has since reopened.
