State Patrol: Driver flees on foot after causing multi-vehicle crash on I-5
KENT, Wash. - State troopers are looking for a driver who fled on foot after causing a nasty four-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 in the Kent-Des Moines area overnight.
It happened at around 2 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-5 just north of Highway 516.
The Washington State Patrol says one car crashed into another, then two other cars hit the debris from that collision. One vehicle rolled over in the crash.
The driver of the causing vehicle ran away from the scene, said Trooper Rick Johnson.
Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the crash.
Multiple lanes were blocked during the cleanup and investigation of the crash, but all lanes have since reopened.
