Starbucks employee robbed while waiting for store to open
SEATTLE -- A Starbucks employee was attacked and robbed while waiting outside for the manager to show up and open the business early Monday in West Seattle, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The victim arrived at the coffee shop near 41st Avenue Southwest and Southwest Admiral Way around 4 a.m. and sat down on the steps to read his tablet and wait for the manager.
According to police, three men walked up and asked the victim for money. When the victim said he didn't have any, the men reportedly hit him in the face and head.
The men took the victim's tablet, cellphone and bag and ran off, according to police.
Officers searched the area but were unable to find the suspects.
