Son seeks father's stolen military award

VANCOUVER, Wash. Burglars stole a man's priceless mementos that once belonged to his father, Lt. Donald K. Ross.

The crime happened back in January, and police found many of the stolen items. They hope by getting the word out to as many people as possible, the remaining item will turn up.

Police serving a search warrant 10 days after the break-in recovered most of the military memorabilia. Still missing is Lt. Ross' Congressional Medal of Honor watch.

Lieutenant Donald K. Ross was an officer in the United States Navy stationed at Pearl Harbor. He is described as being the first recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor in World War II.
