Major Seattle freeway interchange reopens after semi crash cleared
SEATTLE - A semi truck rollover crash has been cleared at a heavily used freeway interchange near downtown Seattle, the Washington State Patrol reports.
The crash had blocked the 4th Avenue exit ramp to eastbound Interstate 90 and both directions of Interstate 5. The ramp reopened by 1 p.m., about 2 1/2 hours after the accident.
The 34-year-old semi truck driver sustained minor injuries and was taken away in an ambulance.
A witness told investigators that the semi truck appeared to be going too fast.
