KITTITAS, Wash. -- A collision between two semi-trucks, including a tanker, blocked westbound Interstate 90 and critically injured at least one person Thursday afternoon.

The left lane opened before 3 p.m. But there was a long backup.

The crash occurred at milepost 126 near Kittitas and east of Ellensburg, the Washington State Patrol said.

Photos show a tanker truck and truck carrying hay were involved.

There were concerns that there had been a fuel leak. But the State Patrol later said there had not been a leak.

A helicopter has landed and will take at least one patient to a hospital.

This is a developing story. We will more details later.
