Seattle police officer arrested in narcotics probe
SEATTLE -- A Seattle police officer was arrested Saturday in a narcotics investigation.
The Seattle Police Department put the officer on leave without pay, police said.
Police were working with the FBI, Drug Enforcement Administration and the Department of Homeland Security in the investigation.
Police did not release more information but said the U.S. Attorney's Office in Seattle will provide details on Monday.
FBI Special Agent Fred Gutt said several search warrants were being executed Saturday in Seattle and cities nearby, including Renton, Woodinville, Maple Valley and SeaTac.
At least three people have been arrested, Gutt said. Those arrested are expected to appear in federal court on Monday.
