Seahawks make final roster cuts

      SEATTLE - The Seahawks are ready for the regular season, but not before making some tough decisions on Saturday.

      Seattle, just like the other teams in the NFL, needed to make final cuts by 1 p.m. The Seahawks cleared 22 roster spots, going from 75 players to the league-mandated 53 players.

      Here are the moves the Seahawks officially made Saturday:

      The Seahawks also traded a 6th round draft pick in 2015 to the Indianapolis Colts for cornerback Marcus Burley.

      Seattle opens the regular season on Thursday against the Green Bay Packers. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30pm at CenturyLink Field.
