      Santa hands out $20 bills at Spokane restaurants

      SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Santa handed out $20 bills to many fast-food restaurant employees working on Christmas in Spokane and Spokane Valley.

      KREM reports volunteers with the group Big Table hope they started a new holiday tradition.

      The volunteers raised more than $3,000 for their "holiday care blitz" and surprised workers at 18 restaurants.
