Renton bank successfully robbed for second time in one week
RENTON, Wash. -- Displaying the complete lack of originality usually reserved for summer blockbusters*, a woman is suspected of robbing an Alaska Federal Credit Union in Renton six days after it was successfully robbed by someone else.
According to the Renton Police Department, the woman handed a note to a teller at the bank inside a Safeway in downtown Renton and was given an undisclosed amount of cash shortly after 11:45 a.m. Thursday.
The woman reportedly drove off in a gray sedan, possibly a Nissan Sentra, with a man in the passenger seat.
The same Alaska Federal Credit Union was robbed May 23.
