Poulsbo PD: Proof we have a heroin problem

POULSBO, Wash. -- Poulsbo Police say they've collected thousands of used, hypodermic needles around town in recent weeks and they're putting them on display for everyone to see.

Police Chief Al Townsend says a growing heroin problem in the city is now responsible for 80% of crime there and now he's turning to social media to help get the word out to younger crowds.

Townsend Tweeted a photo Thursday morning saying it's what officers have collected since Nov. 4 alone.
