Police: Woman robbed at gunpoint at Seattle bus stop
SEATTLE -- A 64-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint while waiting for a bus Sunday afternoon in Rainier View, according to the Seattle Police Department.
According to police, the victim was waiting at a bus stop in the 11800 block of Beacon Avenue South around 5 p.m. when a man approached her from behind.
The man reportedly poked a gun into the victim's side and told her to get on the ground. According to police, the man took $200 from the victim's purse before running off.
Police have so far been unable to find the man. He was described as a black man in his 20s, approximately 5-feet-9-inches tall and 200 pounds with short black hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a black and gray checkered polo shirt at the time.
