Police: Woman attacked, robbed by one-night stand

SEATTLE -- A woman was attacked and robbed by a one-night stand who had asked if he could come over to her apartment and watch movies last week in the University District, according to the Seattle Police Department.

A number of people living in an apartment building in the 5600 block of University Way Northeast called 911 shortly after 3 a.m. Thursday when they heard a woman running around the hallway on the fourth floor.

Officers arrived and contacted the victim in her apartment.

According to the police report for the incident, the victim said she met the suspect the previous week through her sister and had a one-night stand with him.

She told officers she invited the suspect over to her apartment around 9 p.m. Wednesday after he texted her asking if she wanted to watch some movies.

According to the report, the victim fell asleep at some point during the night and woke up around 3 a.m. to see the suspect carrying her laptop toward the door.

The victim yelled at the suspect, and he put down the laptop and went into the bathroom. When she yelled at him to leave, he came out of the bathroom, grabbed the laptop and pushed her down on his way out of the apartment, according to the report.

According to the report, the victim followed the suspect into the hallway, and he pushed her again before leaving the building.

The victim said she was unsure of the suspect's full name, and officers were unable to find him on Facebook.
