Police: Wife runs over husband with car after holiday-party fight
SEATTLE -- Christmas cheer was in short supply when a 24-year-old woman ran over her husband with their car after the two got in a fight at an office holiday party Saturday night, according to the Seattle Police Department.
According to police, model Cristina Forrest and her 34-year-old husband were at a holiday party in Queen Anne when they got into an argument and decided to leave. The argument only got more heated once the couple got back to their car in a parking lot in the 2000 block of 15th Avenue West.
Forrest's husband eventually decided to get out of the car and walk away. As he was doing so, he noticed Forrest driving their car at him, according to police.
According to police, Forrest's husband tried to hide behind a small tree, but Forrest drove over the tree and her husband before speeding off.
A nearby Washington State Patrol trooper noticed Forrest reportedly driving erratically and pulled her over. She was arrested and booked into King County Jail for investigation of domestic-violence assault.
Forrest's husband was taken to Harborview Medical Center with injuries to his face, wrist and legs. He is expected to be OK.
Forrest was arrested for domestic violence in 2012, as well.
