Police: Self-described genius caught urinating in public
SEATTLE -- "I am a genius."
That was the claim made Monday evening by a man arrested after urinating in public, punching various cars and attacking a driver, according to the Seattle Police Department.
According to the police report for the incident, the victim pulled into a parking garage in the 500 block of Cedar Street and saw the suspect urinating on the wall.
The suspect yelled at the victim, pounded on his hood and punched his side mirror, according to the report. When the victim opened his car door, the suspect reportedly slammed the door on the victim's arm repeatedly.
According to the report, witnesses saw the suspect punch multiple other cars before officers arrived and arrested the suspect as he was running away.
"I am a genius," the very intoxicated suspect reportedly told officers. "I want to crush somebody, beat someone."
The suspect was arrested and booked into King County Jail for investigation of assault.
The victim suffered bruising and swelling to his arm.
