Police nab woman after man found stabbed in Renton

RENTON, Wash. - A man who was found stabbed at a gas station in Renton is recovering with serious injuries.

Emergency crews were called to the 200 block of Rainier Avenue North just before 2 a.m. on Saturday, and found a 30-year-old man with a deep stab wound to the abdomen.

Police said the victim had driven to the gas station after being stabbed in a parking lot a few blocks away. The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center for immediate surgery.

A 24-year-old Seattle woman was later found by police a few blocks away, and was arrested after a "variety of evidence connected her to the stabbing," police said.

Renton police are not looking for additional suspects, and booked the woman into the King County Jail on suspicion of Assault in the First Degree.
