Police: Man who inappropriately touched 2 girls arrested

PUYALLUP, Wash. -- Puyallup police have arrested a 20-year-old man who they say groped two teen girls against their will earlier this year.

It was on Jan. 10 when Nathaniel Allen inappropriately touched two different teenaged girls at a late night youth program, police said. A week later, one of the girls went to a fast food restaurant and Allen was inside. Police say Allen followed her out and forced her against a wall and began groping her once again.

Investigators say the victim made repeated attempts to get away but he didn't stop until someone else walked around the corner.

Police announced Wednesday that two warrants were issued for Allen's arrest for investigation of fourth degree assault with sexual motivation and asked the media for help in getting the word out to find him.

That evening, a person who saw the alert notified police that Allen was at a Tacoma homeless shelter. He was arrested and booked into the Puyallup City Jail.
