Police: Man arrested for breaking into ex-girlfriend's house
SEATTLE -- A 24-year-old man with multiple warrants out for him was arrested early Thursday after breaking into his ex-girlfriend's house and assaulting her, according to the Seattle Police Department.
According to police, the woman called 911 when she noticed her ex, Billy Dee Daniels, climbing through her broken bathroom window shortly after midnight.
While the victim was on the phone with 911, Daniels reportedly grabbed her and forced her from the bedroom and into the living room before throwing her phone to the floor.
Officers arrived at the home near 26th Avenue and East Pine Street moments later. According to police, officers found Daniels in a crawlspace in the basement, attempting to hide himself with insulation.
Daniels, who has a domestic-violence no-contact order with the victim, was booked into King County Jail for investigation of burglary and domestic-violence assault, plus the outstanding warrants.
