Police: Male model attacks photographer over hickey
SEATTLE -- Forgetting everything he should have learned at the Handsome Boy Modeling School, a male model showed up to a shoot Sunday evening in South Seattle with a hickey on his neck and quickly flew into a rage when the photographer pointed it out, according to the Seattle Police Department.
According to the police report for the incident, the suspect arrived for the shoot in the 4000 block of South Willow Street shortly before 7 p.m. for a scheduled shoot.
When the victim, who is the suspect's business partner as well as his photographer, told the suspect they would have to reschedule the shoot due the the suspect's "love bite," the suspect flipped out, smashing a glass table with his foot and kicking a vase, according to the report.
The victim, who told officers he has experienced the suspect's anger issues before, tried to run away, but the suspect reportedly grabbed him around the neck and pulled him to the ground, where he punched him in the back of the head and choked him.
The victim said he believed the suspect was going to kill him. But, a witness came out of the back room, and the suspect ran off.
According to the report, the suspect has assaulted the victim twice before in the past three months, at one point telling the victim that if he called police the suspect would kill him then kill himself.
The victim told officers he didn't report the previous assaults because he didn't want to ruin the suspect's life.
Officers told the victim to call police if the suspect shows up again, and the case was referred to the City Attorney's Office.
