Police make arrest in death of woman found on train tracks
SEATTLE -- Nine months ago, a woman's body was found on the railroad tracks in SoDo. On Wednesday, Seattle Police Department detectives made an arrest in the case.
According to police, the body was found by a train engineer on the tracks near Fifth Avenue South and South Spokane Street.
The body had significant head injuries, as well as DNA belonging to a man who had been in a relationship with the victim, according to police.
On Wednesday, that 42-year-old man was arrested near 10th Avenue South and South Weller Street and booked into King County Jail for investigation of homicide.
