Police looking for suspected purse-snatcher

KENT, Wash. -- The Kent Police Department is looking for a man suspected of stealing a woman's purse then threatening to shoot witnesses July 7 in a McDonald's parking lot.

According to police, the victim was walking through the parking lot at 10715 S.E. 240th St. when the suspect grabbed her purse from behind and knocked her to the ground, injuring her arm and foot.

Witnesses chased the suspect, but he threatened to shoot them if they didn't stop following him, according to police. It is not known if the suspect had a gun.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, age 18 to 20, with dark hair and a goatee. He is approximately 5-feet-10-inches tall with a medium build and brown eyes.
