Man accused of trying to kidnap woman in Montesano identified

MONTESANO, Wash. - Police have identified the man suspected of trying to kidnap a 20-year-old woman Montesano last week.

Investigators said they're now looking for Isaac Gusman, 41. He's accused of attempted kidnapping and assault.

Police said the woman was walking near Church Street and McBryde last Wednesday, when Gusman drove past her. He then got out of the truck, mentioned he had a flat tire, then pulled a gun on her and ordered her to get inside.

When she screamed and fell to the ground, Gusman got back in the truck and drove way.

Investigators said he was last seen around 7:45 a.m. Monday driving on Matlock-Brady Road in a blue 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche with Washington License Plate C54219D. The vehicle also has tinted read windows and chrome or aluminum wheels.

Police said Gusman should be considered armed and dangerous. They said he may be living in the woods near the Mason County, Grays Harbor County line.
