The missing man, identified as Cody Brown, 29, was initially reported missing on Thursday night after he failed to return home from a trip to Puyallup's South Hill Mall, said Ed Troyer of the Pierce County Sheriff's Office.
Brown's parents reported that their son called a friend that night and told them he was on a bus heading to the Sea-Tac Airport and was going to the East Coast. Brown's parents also reported that he made two ATM withdrawals at the Sea-Tac Airport at about 10 p.m. Thursday.
Troyer says there may have been a possible sighting of Brown at about 7 p.m. on Friday near the Safeway and 7-Eleven stores at 216th Street and Pacific Highway in SeaTac. He may have been wearing a baseball hat and backpack, and was with a white woman, two black women and a black man.
Cody Brown is described as a white male, standing 5-feet-11-inches, weighing 190 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. He walks with a limp and needs medication for seizures.
He did not take his medication with him and his family reports that without it he will have a major grand mal seizure.
