Police investigating after man shot multiple times in face, chest
SEATTLE -- Detectives are investigating after a 21-year-old man was shot multiple times in the face and chest early Tuesday morning in Beacon Hill.
According to the Seattle Police Department, the shooting took place around 3 a.m. near the 2900 block of 12th Avenue South.
Officers arrived to find shell casings in the street and on the sidewalk and damage to at least one car and a nearby home. No one in the home was injured, and the family living there was reportedly unaware a shooting had even occurred.
The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition following the shooting.
Police have identified three witnesses to the shooting but are still hunting for a suspect and motive.
