Police investigating after man shot in Capitol Hill
SEATTLE -- Police are investigating after a man was shot in the arm Sunday morning in the 1500 block of Broadway in Capitol Hill, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident reportedly happened just before 4 a.m. Sunday when officers in the area heard several gunshots coming from a parking garage.
Witnesses told police that some people in a Chevy Tahoe may have been involved. Officers were able to spot the vehicle and noticed bullet damage to the SUV and a handgun on the floor.
The passenger of the SUV was reportedly a convicted felon and was arrested for a firearms violation, according to police.
A man with a gunshot wound to the arm later arrived at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in a car that was reportedly seen by witnesses at the scene of the shooting, according to police.
Officers collected 27 shell casings from the garage. The investigation is ongoing.
