Police: Intruders shoot at resident during burglary
SEATTLE -- A pair of burglars fired multiple shots at the Brighton resident who caught them breaking into his home early Monday morning, according to the Seattle Police Department.
According to police, the victim was sleeping in his home in the 4600 block of South Othello Street around 2:30 a.m. when he heard his door being broken down.
The victim got out of bed and found two men standing in the doorway, according to police.
When the victim yelled at the men, one of them reportedly pulled out a gun and fired two shots, hitting a nearby wall.
The men ran off, and victim, who was not hurt in the shooting, called 911.
Officers responded but were unable to find the men.
